Diesel Technician
Worldwide Diesel Power Inc. is hiring a Diesel Technician to join our team! This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing diesel engines and auxiliary systems both in the workshop and onboard vessels. We’re looking for someone mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and ready to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform engine and system maintenance/repairs to OEM standards
Operate workshop tools (valve seat grinders, honing machines, surface grinders)
Conduct field service work on vessels, shipyards, and at customer facilities
Assist with troubleshooting and provide condition reports
What We’re Looking For
Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic components, and auxiliary systems
Skilled with precision measuring tools and workshop equipment
Basic knowledge of piping and valve systems (fuel, water, oil)
Able to read technical manuals and follow instructions
Strong communication skills in English
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-minded
Requirements
High School Diploma (mechanical trade certification or military training preferred)
2–4 years of mechanical or engine repair experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in confined space
Able to travel domestically and internationally
Passport
TWIC or have ability to obtain TWIC
