Diesel Technician

Worldwide Diesel Power Inc. is hiring a Diesel Technician to join our team! This hands-on role involves maintaining and repairing diesel engines and auxiliary systems both in the workshop and onboard vessels. We’re looking for someone mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and ready to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform engine and system maintenance/repairs to OEM standards

  • Operate workshop tools (valve seat grinders, honing machines, surface grinders)

  • Conduct field service work on vessels, shipyards, and at customer facilities

  • Assist with troubleshooting and provide condition reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic components, and auxiliary systems

  • Skilled with precision measuring tools and workshop equipment

  • Basic knowledge of piping and valve systems (fuel, water, oil)

  • Able to read technical manuals and follow instructions

  • Strong communication skills in English

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-minded

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (mechanical trade certification or military training preferred)

  • 2–4 years of mechanical or engine repair experience preferred

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in confined space

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally

  • Passport

  • TWIC or have ability to obtain TWIC
